The CanSat
A highly integrated embedded system.
Despite the limited volume (standard can size), it incorporates a complex architecture of sensors, radio telemetry, and flight control actuators powered by a custom PCB.
Secondary Mission
We developed an innovative recovery system using autorotation.
A swashplate mechanism gives us active control over the descent trajectory.
Simultaneously, our onboard Machine Learning model analyzes sensor data to correct dead-reckoning errors, significantly improving position estimation without GPS.
Primary Mission
Collecting real-time telemetry data during descent.
Our onboard sensors continuously monitor temperature and air pressure, transmitting packets via radio to the ground station for analysis.
